Just taking the time to write a quick note
to let you all know that I'm still afloat.

My daughter and I are on the stage soon,
and rehearsal runs late (we drive home by the moon).

Between being a mom and an actress too,
there are so many things I've no time to do.

Responses I haven't had time to write;
sometimes I don't sleep until dawn's early light!

I think of you all so often, it's true;
each day without you is a day that I rue.

Soon I'll be back and part of the hub
as I post my responses to poems in The Pub.< !signature-->

I for one, miss you dear,
When you return we'll still be here,
I'm sure of that you have no fear,
Come back soon with rhymes to cheer
us as we drink our beer.

Just don't desert us, this I beg,
Now get onstage and break a leg.
