As days pass by, we see the news,
So pathetically, we seem to refuse,
to lay the blame, on those who use
children, as targets, of their abuse.

Communities, entertaining dreams.
Libertarianism run amok it seems.
Psychs. papers studied by the ream.
Incest, abuse, death, reigning supreme.

For pedophiles, there is no cure .
Justice visited, swift and sure
Rid us of them, make them pure,
Death to them, it has allure.

Relatives, fathers,all scum who dare.
To prey on souls, so small, so bare.
With wounded heart and vengeance rare.
Societies sword would be prepared.

Abusers, killers, the end so swift.
Who cares ,their wicked souls to lift.
Damnation they wreaked here on earth.
For them, fiery hell and no rebirth.

Social science,run amok.
Children have to bear the cost.
Criminals rights, used to block.
Reality check! Morality lost.

Your poem is timely and with much merit.

I whole-heartedly agree.
Nothing more horrifying than abuse,
be it verbal/mental, physical or sexual
done to an innocent child.

We all need to take it to the limits and insist, through our votes, to put people in place that will mete out the punishment to the perpetrators and carry it out swiftly,
not drag it out for years in court.

We all need to stand up and be counted against this practice ... before many more little hearts are silenced and survivors are often marred for life.

Thank you for your sensitivity to this issue.

To those who responded many thanks
I have been close to this subject and would show no mercy on the cold villainous cretins who abuse the defenseless in this way.
