This never happens during the week
I can usually find the answers I seek
But this gloominess always blinds my sight
There's something about Sunday night.

I can go six days without you in mind
But on the seventh day, i always find
Thoughts of you are impossible to fight
There's something about Sunday night.

I get home, excited to dream
but it never fails, or so it seems
That sleep won't come to me tonight
There's something about Sunday night.

Simple and direct but very pointed.

I like it.

Isn't funny how a certain night (day), song, scent, sight - something - is harder on us than any other?  Good poem.

Well, my problem with Sunday night is that I usually have to go to school the next day...lol   You did a wonderful job of expressing what kind of stuff goes on the night before ________--I'm going to have to print this out!
