This one is based upon a poem I composed this year, while counselling at a Bible camp. I was worried about my faith being replaced soley by science. I really wish I had the original with me. But wherever it is, I hope it helped the person who found it, in some way, lol. You stand with your host of beautiful stars, In the wonderful, and glittering sky. You are a testament to God's own devine and working Hands. God has pointed the warming light of the sun At thee, so as to give us light at night, as well. Who could think up something so ingenious? When I am troubled by things scientific, I shall always think of thy glorious brightness, A testament to the work of God's hands. |

So often times I find myself going back to things that just blow my mind. Like the ocean for instance, and how God has commanded it not to pass the shoreline. His works when thought upon can truly amaze the mind. His thoughts are deep, and higher than ours, that's for sure. For He's thought of everything, things at this point we just can't begin to fathom.  Our faith continues to baffle the scientific mind. While science strives for logical explainations for how the ambience of space was created, we with faith reply, "God simply put it there...." Glad to meet a fellow counselor. God Bless You, Bob <>< |
