Stay my love.
Don't leave.
Be still and know
that I am your
Beloved Lord.
I will empty
your mind and heart,
so that you
will feel my Peace,
enfold your deepest
being,
as I embrace you
with my Love,
heightening your
senses,
to my passionate
eternal kiss of
Grace,
that you might
feel and know,
the fullness of
My Love for you.

Summers haunting melody
that awakens
the butterflies,
calling them to join
the dance
in their silent song
of praise to God.

Ellie~
Just lovely thoughts.

'I will empty
your mind and heart,
so that you
will feel my Peace'

Yes ... and He has done that so many times with me.

Thank you for sharing these thoughts.

Ellie,

Beautiful sentiments.  They are always there . . . we just have to accept Him.

Beautifully written Ellie! Fills the heart with warmth when reading it. I wonder if we'll ever grasp the full deepness of His love for us? But you've done an extremely well job explaining it.   < !signature-->

Oh how true these words are!  When we've developed our faith to let go after asking His help with all we're able to do, we feel His presence so strongly within.  You've said it so well and I thank you for sharing.

your poem echoes beautifully of so many of god's great promises! such as: "be still, and know that I am god" (psalm 46) and philippians 4 where paul promises us both "the peace of god" and "the god of peace." also revelation 4 where jesus sadly notes that the church has "lost [its] first love." oh, that human love were only as enduring as god's love--what happy folks we'd be!

Speaks straight to the soul through the eyes that rest upon the words you write.  Wonderful and very uplifting.

Perfection, ellie!! You have captured His peace and love so well.  After reading Vicki's heart felt pain, this poem would be my answer to her.   Just wonderful!  Marcy
