Without eyes to see
The color of your skin
Or knowledge of your nationality
Nor eyes to see the shape of your being
Or eyes to view your youthfulness or age
Or knowledge of your degrees or lack thereof
Or the knowledge of your religion
Or any other difference that creates prejudice
Here at Passionate Forums
We look within each other's soul
As we bare our inner being
In poetry and verse
Our hearts commune
Without the boundaries,
The fences eyes create
On which prejudice thrives
We communicate as God intended
Heart to heart
Spirit to spirit
One with God

I view each poet here
A star in the galaxy of love.

Septsong,
One star to another, I see the colors of your spirit, and I love what I see.
Thank-you for a beautiful poem.

indeed, we are without prejudiced in a world with no form, just passions; passions that come from the soul. may god bless the bright shining stars of our galaxy! may our light be made brilliant for the sake of those in the darkness.
touching, and true.
thank you for a wonderful read!

Dear Rose; And you, my friend, are the loveliest star of all. You have written the most glorious of all your poems. This is so true, every word. How blessed we are to have the gift of loving the very essence of each other here at this forum. Love, ellie

"Heart to heart, Spirit to spirit, One with God" oh Septsong, how touching is this???? Each other's heart is all we see in this forum, and each time I come in it's like coming home.  This is just beautiful, showing the tender heart you have.  Thanks for this gift you have given us all, and for the pleasure of reading your lovely poetry.  Bonnie

This is a beautiful expression, of how things can be and was meant to be-How blinded we are by our earthly senses!
How blessed we are when guided by our Heavenly sense!--You do us an honor and a great service in your statement, Thank You,  David

Rose this is so true! We do limit ourselves by what we see, and it does stand in the way even when we don't want it to.

This place really does let one see into the other person before they actually see the outside of them. I love that! Great job!

Our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are, but we are responsible for who we become.

Septsong, One of my favorite poems here in this forum. Such truth shared in this one.
I go back and read it often.
I brought it up again, so as not to have to look so hard next time.

Alle I was indeed surprised to see this had rolled back up again. It is really how I feel about this place, and I am happy you enjoyed it.

Well I enjoyed it twice around, and it needs to go back up. I don't know why more us in here haven't replied to it.
