That good friendship seems to be over My best friend is no longer there We both made mistakes, and now it is gone And I wonder...does she even care? We were always going to be side by side Yet somehow, we're now far apart The future can never be what was dreamt I'm now missing a piece of my heart. It must be a part of God's Great Plan His blueprint of why I am here And though I don't want to question Him It is all just so hard to bear. I've faced many trials before this Had to bury so much from my past Parents, two brothers and many more Always praying each one was my last Now I'm faced with this new challenge Letting go, when she is still here I don't know how to do this How to overcome the fear. So I'm asking you today Lord To give me whatever I need To get over this new hurdle My soul, I need to feed... With the warm, soft light of Your mercy With the goodness of Your love With all the knowledge and wisdom From His Majesty up above. And I pray for her too, I know she's in pain Lord she needs Your gentle touch Please bring peace again to the life Of this friend, I will always love so much. |

BSC, I'm glad you joined us here! A sad poem, very well written. And much hope! You are headed in the right direction, that's for sure. To pray for her, that's wonderful! God don't always take the pain from us, but we learn from it, how to be stronger. It's not always easy to go through these things, but we do make it through. You're certainly leaning on the right one! For God hears you! You shall be in my prayers! <*\\\>< When you can't make up your mind Which way is right for you, Stop and softly ask yourself, What Would Jesus Do? |

You sure know the right places to go with your sadness, 1) to God in prayer 2) to write your feelings out so nicely 3) to share them here with sincere, caring, uplifting people. May I remember your steps in my trials. Thanks |

Thank you all for your kind words, they help more than you know....I know this is just another of those bumps in life, but it's one of the tougher ones...I've just got to get back on track...again I thank you all, this is a great place to be. |

Dear bsc; I was really moved by this poem, because I've had this experience too. I lost my dear friend when she couldn't understand the growth that I was experiencing. I could only trust that God knew what was best for me. It still hurt alot though. This is a beautifully written poem. Thank you. 02 |
