This poem is kinds long and i apologize. I would like comments though and any suggestions you may have. Thanks.

              Moving On

Cool breeze blows
Autumn leaves fall
Her hair blows around her
Sun coming up over the trees
Highlighting her silhoette

Never wanting to leave
Afraid of whats ahead
Feel as if the walls are closing in
Mentality leaving her
Never wanting to let go

Got to move on
Kiss goodbye the past
Welcome the future
Throw away the memories

The best thing of her future
May be left behind
A broken heart is close at hand
Wanting, a yearning for him
Can't turn away

Has to find a way to survive
Without his smile
A touch so warm
A voice so comforting
Has to continue living

Got to move on
Kiss goodbye the past
Welcome the future
Throw away the memories

Keep on going
Don't look back
Gonna make it through
Made it many times before
Once more isn't any different

Let herself be free
Soread her wings and fly
Aiming high for the burning sun
Keep moving way up high
It's a long way to go

great poem
i can relate...

Regret for things you did maybe tempered by time, regret for things you Didn't do, however, is inconsolable...

isabelle: this is a lovely depiction of individual freedom and the times of change and choice that we all go through... keep up the excellent work and i hope to hear more from you soon...

sincerely,
jerome the boy with no brain

A savage place! as holy and enchanted
As e'er beneath a waning moon was haunted
By woman wailing for her demon-lover!
~Coleridge
