The pins in my hands,
The cuts on my arms.
What do they say?
What do they mean?

You tell me I'm manic
You say I'm depressive.
How do these words
help ease my pain?

The pins come out,
the scars may heal.
but it won't affect
the way I feel.

Chaos circles
Through my head
I feel as though
I should be dead.

The pins return
the scars come back.
There is no pain
Just quick release.

Then again I vow.
"Never Again!"
But it's really only
a matter of when.

I posted this in another forum recently, but since they're gone now.
Hey! Well, let me know what you think.

I know your pain, my friend. What you need is the initiative to stop, a reason. When you
find that, you will find the will to stop.
