Where ever I go, what ever I do
She is always by my side
She loves to walk, she loves to run
She's always ready to ride

She's gentle and friendly, never rough
No matter how hard we play
But she loves to be the defender and act real tough,
Loves to chase the mailman away

My constant companion, A friend to the end
I know that she'll alway be there
She shares my thoughts, never pretends
Whatever I feel, she's willing to share

She dances in my joy, grieves in my pain
All this without ever a word said
I'll always be grateful, to my dog
To my very best friend, "Red".

i never thought of writing a poem about my cats...you just gave me a new idea...thanks
