A young man comes to the crossroads where and old man sits upon a rock. The newcomer speaks:

Please come here.
--I'd rather not go there.
Then tell me of this path here
--It is the road to nowhere.
But it must lead somewhere?
--Yes, it goes there too.

You said where?
--Down the road, there.
But is that not nowhere?
--And nowhere is somewhere.
I think I shall stay here.
--Than you are lost, too.

I agree, too. Simplicity and complexity intertwined in a single thought. Very well executed.

Thank you, one and all. I was in a rather odd mood when I wrote this one and was more or less just having fun. But yes, there is a very serious side to it as well. Glad you enjoyed it as much as I did writing it.
