As we go through this life, its life itself that we take for granted. Its not until we know our death that we lament all the things we never did. Always thinking we have enough time to do all that we dreamed of doing. The truth is that we don’t really know how much time we have left. We may not live to see tomorrow, or we may live to see ten thousand tomorrows. When that last week, or day, or hour comes, what will be regretted. What actions will be left undone or wished undone.

If you number was up today, what would you regret most. Not telling someone how you truly felt about them? Something you said in a moment of anger that you never took back? Are you a Cyrano, like the poor soul in a play by the same name, who, as he lay dying finally admitted his love? What are you holding back in fear of how it will be received? Just do it. Spit it out. Live today as if it is your last, for it very well may be your last, and if it isn’t, what have you lost?

every day is a new day with which we can change the world

Nice idea Keith. My signature quote fits this story well. I enjoyed it very much.

"Forget regret, or life is yours to miss. No other course, no other way... No day but today"
