1: First things first
First, I want to say that I am overwhelmingly happy about the "action" in Prose Forum lately! For a while there, I feared we were going to go the way of the Titanic...sinking in to the abyss!
But, Happily, we seem to be plugging right along quite fine!
There have been a lot of wonderful stories posted in here recently, and I am in awe of the talent that has accumulated in one place!

2: Fiction Workshop
If you weren't aware of it before, Ron has recently opened a forum called Fiction Workshop! The goal of the forum is to help aspiring authors along the path of getting their story told, and to help exising authors to grow. Now I know we could ALL use some of one or the other.
So, please stop by there and check it out. Feel free to comment or provide constructive criticism, both would be greatly appreciated!
And above all, please dust of that waiting manuscript, or pen down the idea for that story which has been sitting in your brain, and post it!

3:Publishing
For those of you who are interested in trying to publish your stories, and don't know where to send them, please feel free to e-mail me. I have several, (though they've proven useless to ME so far,) sources of publishers and guidelines, (both for short stories and novel!)(How's THAT for a run-on sentence Michael???)

Thank you all, and DO keep it up!

Indeed not my friend. I refuse to jinx us but Prose is promising indeed and I for one look forward to the coming holidays to see what feast for the soul Prose will bring us.

Echoes of your statement on Fiction Workshop.

Well Wolf Pup......this is my favorite place to post.It just takes me longer to write than a poem.As for fiction one of the requirements is a plot.I can't work that way.Lastly I'm no where good enough to publish except for bathroom tissue and this paper is much to hard for that!

Illusion...what we see and what we do...it's all up to you.

Pretty good, Chris...keep practicing, you'll get it down. As Dream said, ditto the sentiment on Fiction Workshop. And on the publishing thing...patiently waiting...hehe.

Publishing! Yes! The reason I write. But I don't know you email address. I also know some ways of publishing you may not be aware of. So how do I email you?
