Baby, your words fall like rain collecting in shallow puddles
and made dirty by the earth as they turn it to mud
...only to evaporate and fall again

I have no time or need of time
No patience, no money, no food or love
...and I no longer feel any hunger

But your words rain down all around me, baby,
making me feel so dirty, only to evaporate
...and fall again

...and again

I like this. It is a little off beat like jazz. ~L

Some jazz does conjure up or relate to feelings in this way, Miss Lori. That's cool of you to think of it that way. Thanks...

I'm always pleased to hear your take on what I write, Miss Pinky. We're a small crowd here, aren't we...but you make it feel big and bustling with your sparkling presence.
