If it bends
straighten it
If it's straight
bend it

If it's square
circle it
If it's circular
square it

If you like it
leave it
If you don't
change it

So...

Life is short
you can't lengthen it
What's real isn't
What isn't is

Dream into dream
Live no tomorrows
Casting of shadows
Hides many sorrows

(Plug it in before you turn it out...Thanks. 88's y'all!)

She told me "play one for your supper Danny and maybe you'll get breakfast".

Words to the wise and the other wise. Sometimes life is just better when you are swimming upstream. Ask any salmon and his girlfriend salmonella. ~L

Ticklefingers,

I like how you scoped this out 'big time!'
Need to check out more of your poetry, I do, I do.
