commercial photography locations
((strollers by the beach - forgot where I lifted out this photo, but thanks to him/her anyway for inspiring this)

Neanderthals walking by sundown
not hurrying, almost tarrying as if to delay
the moment when primates become extinct
and homo emerges the extant specie
the survivor to inhabit the earth.

Soon the halo of the last light
by the dying rays of the setting sun
will usher in the cloak of night, the past
a forgotten memory, marking a threshold
to cross over and become irrelevant.

"a forgotten memory, marking a threshold"

That line caused me to remember the biblical story of the Garden of Eden.

Hi jjote, they are part of us, somewhere, we have to recognize with humility our past, this is a very innovating poem and a good trail for reflexion,

have a good day
