Ahhh . . . It feels summer down here in the swamps of south Louisiana, supposed to get into the eighties today. I used to love summer, but now with my aging and a few physical problems, mainly emphysema, I find it more difficult to breathe in the summer heat which gets up to the high nineties and beyond. I'm enjoying the warm weather, but I won't when the temperature begins to climb. ~*~ When they give you ruled paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Just started getting rain and warmer temps in Ontario these past few days. Woke up to a couple inches of snow a few days ago that all melted by noon. Some of the flowers are now up, the birds are starting to nest and the chipmunks are awake and taking peanuts |

Especially like the third stanza of this . . . yeah, upper 80's plus humidity here the last few days . . . yuk, Love Spring, but I could live with out the Summer prelude!!! j. |
