Hello to all who welcomed me back. I appriciate it so very much! I have change my username as a dedication to some one. If you read the poem below you shall find out who.

T-shirt with a pocket on the left side of the chest.
A pair of faded blue jeans, held up by a brown belt.
Sneakers white, finished the look off.
That's how I remember him best.

A smile that could brighten any cloudy day I had.
A laugh that held even more power then that.
Always knew the right words to say.
Always reminded me to pray.

Did I mention in that pocket he carried his cigarettes.
In the back pocket of those faded jeans, his wallet.
It still holds a winning lottery ticket.

Pictures hang on my fridge.
His memory in my heart.
It's been nearly two years.
Yet every so often my eyes still hold tears.
I miss you every day.
I'm thankful for my 22 years I had you hear.
As well as the ten months for my son.
I love you Daddy,
I know you're watching from heaven.

That was me back in the late 1950's you better believe it. This was a very touching remembrance of your father. JJ.
