I stared through the window
at all the nonsense called antique
my eye caught the unicorn
embroidered on lusty silver silk
the store was one
I hadn't noticed before
traffic behind me was voraciously loud
sunbeam rays collected dust
I stared at the unicorn
it was a defiant stag
embroidered in golden threads
by her arthritic fingers
oh so many, many years ago

Thanks Bruce. I'll get to your poem soon, I'm very swamped right now.
