      Tao of the Moment

Dark-foreboding cloud legions
march a rolling infinite sky
to the occasional wailing
pipes of a vicious Winter wind
as blinding snow descends
upon this now formless land
where all grief and human
purpose fade into an absolute
and profound serenity.
Here things of the past
are long lost and things to be
distant beyond all meaning
   or imagining
there is only the wondrous ‘now’
and the brief tao of the moment.
We are  the flakes of snow.

I don't want to be a flake of snow any longer. I just want to be my old flakey self basking in the warm of Summer.

Tao with Winter.

Touch, but don't look

' we are the flakes"
yes indeed, it felt like that all winter, talk about being 'one' with nature, that many of us were
warm portrayal of the cold
