Where Love Stands Forever

Where Love Stands Forever

As a plaintiff Winter wind
wails dirges of death and
  desolation
through a thousand miles
of barren hills and  bare-bone
  trees,
when  all of space and time
seem frozen in this moment
beneath a cold-indifferent moon,
and life seems but a labyrinth
of traceless paths and fading
  memories
this unknown, unsung poet,
perhaps long past point and
  purpose,
must still believe that somehow,
somewhere beyond  the infinite
mantle of tremulous stars
there is a mystic place along
a tranquil byway of eternity
where lovers meet and
Love forever stands!

Bruce, you identify yourself as "a 'natural philosopher', environmentalist, 'Universalist' and trained 'field' scientist," but what you failed to mention is that you are a 100% purveyor of love. In each and every poem you post the mention of love is creatively place within its lines.

well ... seems to me that perhaps this 'double-post-modern'
"Runaway American Dream" could use a touch of unabashed
'Romanticism' here and there ...
