As the
candle,
burned down

In the end,
there was ink

An ocean
of feelings
all drowning,
in synch

All things
unsaid
cannot matter,
or rhyme

We are the
essence
of marvel,
and why

And oh how they
searched
for the land,
without cost

Where sinners could
walk upon
those,
who were
lost

On up
to the mountain
of dreams,
that are dust

And over the rivers
of blood,
from our
lust

As all I can give you
is what
you’ll receive

A tree full of
heartbeats
or simply,
a leaf

Branches of
always
that reach,
to the sky

Arms in the
billows
just waiting,
to cry

oh my Richard.Last night I went out looking for the moon and saw these almost exact black lines of the Sycamore tree in my yard.It was standing tall out over the roof of the house and I so wished I had a good camera to capture it.The sky was misty and no moon or stars showed. Just this beautiful silhouette of the Sycamore tree.
I love the silhouette and your poem. jo Wish I had some candy hearts to place upon the branches of my tree.LOL

I seem to gush a bit too much and embarrass myself in doing so,  so I'll tone it down and just leave a smile.

if anyone, that would be me Lori, so i know what you mean.. but hopefully no regrets.. there is too much lonliness in this world with feelings, hidden..

thank you dear friend for always giving me the biggest smiles.. you ever are, the best of the best..
