She exchanged a sly grin
until those lives became hers to dance with
For utter joy
under the black fall of southern moss

Such is the exchange
where he met her under a soft rise
where the locusts, like stars, swarmed in groups
under his big, bright blue eyes

It is here that they call him by his first name
a nod to the mountain top
like soft velvet onto a wooden floor

It is here an exchange can become a heavy weight
like the shade that trumps the suns gaze
But, only if,
An exchange is never made.

Your poem speaks visions, intimately and deep.
Enjoyed, Tomer,
