My World Is Right

On a hot Hawaiian night
no ocean breezes
no trade winds in sight
I felt the need for my woman.
She told me she'd be over at eight
but tonight she's running late
and I going crazy in anticipation.
I have some sensual things in mind
that will require her participation.

Well, time is ticking
and she still doesn't show
so I might as well take this time
to write about some people I know.
Wait...I hear her key at the front door
and soon I won't have the time
to write about this anymore.
Now she's opening the door
and my world is right.
Goodnight, and have a
wonderful night.
