This is my idea of what a haiku should be.

This is imho an excellent haiku. I see the mist, the brightness, the butterfly at rest and in flight, and feel the warmth and gentleness of the early dawm-to-midmorning of a calm summer solstice day. Very good!

As to style and construction, it is in what I have seen most over the past several years of reading English-language haiku at least. It is a fine style, the three non-punctuated clauses.

A master of the haiku too. Bravo, Bruce.
