                         Beautiful metaphoRs, fine simileS,
All in perfect iAmbic symmetriC rhyme.
                        Lively storieS quickening heArtbeats,
                         Lingering Calls and lovely Lines.
                         All messAges written so flAwless,
                         Deep, Lasting thoughtful Whys,
Each Love story is so fAultless,
EverY ballad yieldinG no dry eyes.
Respected by us all.   Even me!

me thinks that 'scalawag' Michael will get a good laugh as much as I did!

Clever presentation and I love your style, sentiment and wit!

...and I tried so hard to ignore it!!! (actually, thank you, honeybee, I missed it completely)

So LongJohn says kind words of me
Could this be some new thing?
Usually he busts my chops
Regaling in the sting.

Very nice he treats me now
Yes, my friends, it's true
Sincerity in every word
Exuding out like glue.

At last my friend has seen the light
Degrading days are gone.
Oh, how I feel the friendship grow,
God, thanks for this new dawn.

LOL@Sea dog - 'Deer, you never fail to make me smile, either it's with great poems or witty remarks, and often both.

Thank you all for your kind words.

yea, your "dawn" will turn into widespread darkness I'd guess, fair to partly daylight. I wouldnt trust that sailor with a fake penny...he has never done something like this without coming back with a back stab....

That's two thumbsup for LJA and Balladeer. Thanks for the smiles guys. It is one of those things that I truly missed all those years I've been gone from PIP.
