.

Dusk light
Beyond the trees
Over a somber bay

Offshore
Small islands
In dark silhouette
Last flights
Of sparrows
Passing by

Silence comes
To bring
The curtain down
There are no words
For us to say

Let there
Be no thought
Of loss regret
Or tragedy

As we listen
As if finally
To the lapping
Of the sea

.

Feelings and thoughts beautifully expressed through your lines. I like the underlying discreetness of your writing style. Best wishes.
