Stand easy troop
Glad to see you back

Not much has changed
Since you were gone

Pretty much the way
It’s always been
Sometimes we win
Sometimes we lose

Your gear
Is waiting for you
With your friends
In a little while
We’ll be going
Back down again
But by your eyes
It seems to me
Despite your history
You’re still
Just a bit confused

So let’s take a break
With a cup of wine
Watch the light
As it begins to change

And I tell you
What’s goin’ on
