The sad that makes me sad

My sad is
not my own,
but more so the sadness
of people that shouldn’t be,
but are,
because of my sadness.
My sadness is in the stock
that people put my happiness in,
to make them happy.
A burden that could,
that should be my wind,
light and crisp and warm
and welcoming
if my world spun straight
