Tell me!

Let those words
Dive
From your trembling tongue,
And I'll give you an 8
Just for trying,

Or,

Yell
Cannon ball!
Then I'll give you a 10
As water drips down
My cheek to my chin.

Tell me!

Spit out that mucus
At once!
Or would you rather choke?
Will you let it
Build up in your throat,
As you swim away?

Well,
When you drown,
Will you tell me then?

The tips of my fingers
Start to bleed the thoughts
That overwhelm me

Hmm.. If it weren't for the fact that I'm hyper, I might say this poem is rubbish and absolutely crazy. Just kidding. I love it actually.

Thanks Zach, this poem is a bit different, I guess.

Love this poem

If you don't like something,
Change it...
If you can't change it,
Change the way you think about it

I really enjoyed reading this, which is a surpise as i'm not so keen on non-rhyming poetry. This was rather intriguing. Good stuff.

Thanks, Octave, I never really liked non-rhyming poems, either. I'm just trying figure out how to write a good free verse.

The tips of my fingers
Start to bleed the thoughts
That overwhelm me
