 Ice Cream Treat A mound of lemon sherbet on top of icy key lime pie, Chocolate mint dripping on strawberries stacked high. A scoop of maple walnut with a side of raspberry sorbet, Relaxing in the summer sun, eating ice cream by the bay.  Care to share your Favorite Ice Cream? ARCTIC WIND |

Yo Artic Wind, There is a lovely ice cream parlor run by a Sicilian family on the corner where I live--nothing like spumoni. This is a very good write. Keep up the good work. Bobby |

Dear Arctic Wind, Chocolate Please! Just pile it on with choccy sauce and choccy lumps and choccy bits and choccy bumps and flakes and cream all melted with the sprinkle. mmmmmmm this is such a lovely idea, dear Michael. What fun it would be to have an ice-cream party! The last one I had while enjoying the beauty of Piazza Navona, was my absolute forever favorite: vanilla+chocolate+hazelnut ... it was piled so high I needed to be rather quick to avoid the melting before I finished ... it was a very hot evening! I sometimes try a new flavor, but I am never fully satisfied as I am with the above combination. Love and ice-cream smiles. Margherita |

Hey AW, Did you know that Alaskans eat more ice cream per capita than any state in the US? I just finished up some Rocky Road for supper. When I was little sometimes we would have "backwards suppers" and my Mother would dish up ice cream and say that we couldn't have supper until we ate all our ice cream. She was such a good cook (grins). A |
