When the needing feeling passion bug
creeps under my front door
I know but do not know
it will inhabit my abode
and clean up the corners
like a daily char.

Diligent, determined, and dedicated
it works behind the scenes
to make it seem unreal
and so the cleaning goes
until a woman moves
and leaves behind the meaning
of this mortal life.

What good the bug of passion/lust
if I can’t live show/tell
or even speak of one true love
in the manner of my being?

But clean away and make it seem;
‘tis what a bug must do
and who am I to say it nay
when I know but do not know
there’ll one day come a dust storm
and it simply will not cope
trapped as it is
in the singular!

Gosh, dear Helen! What an exquisitely  creative write!

I see no reason to keep the passion within, call for the right circumstances to LIVE it, waiting for the deluge could be "dangerous"!!

Love and hugs.

"waiting for the deluge could be "dangerous"!!"

Never a truer word said!  Thank you, Margherita.  The circumstances are a-coming but circumstances are such stubborn things and stick to their own time-frame which, by the way, isn't and never has been mine. I'm working on them in an energetic way - no option you see!

Helen, when the bug of passion and lust
cannot show and tell ~ or even "speak of one true love", perhaps it should buzz like a bee to get some 'honey'!

Love to you!

I think I'm old enough to know that bugs do what the hell they like until we put a foot down - hard! I don't really want to do that so perhaps I'll just think it gone.  I probably thought it here in the first place but I'm keeping mum about that.

Thanks guys and gals!
