Today California is under fire alarm, But don’t worry when I think to Emily My head is full of clouds, full of raining clouds that slip towards California and water the meadows, so you see there is no need to be scared when California is on fire I just have to think to Emily. |

Yann... this has an underlying message to me. Emily is not happy, cannot control her emotions, has been terribly hurt, and cries so much... that even she could put out the fires of California. As a native Californian, though now re-rooted, that would take a very sad woman to put out all of those flames... and, as I have an Emily of my own, I had to read this poem, for that reason alone. But it's a sad poem, and with today's rain where I am, it well fits the mood... thank you. |

hello Margherita, in fact yes our thoughts have great power even they can't put out fires...I wrote this poem during fires in California and needed to give mental help... Thank you for your comment.... |
