I’ve naught held the gentleness of your heart, at a time of solitude when poets sit, sometimes
exhale softly and often shuffle a foot within a worn shoe.

I’ve never heard the sound of a voice that I can only imagine to be so captivating, though the
northern reaches shall assuredly insure her birth place to be of some place high among the
snow covered reaches.

I’ve yet to see more than just a sparkling pair of blue eyes,   each wearing a slight though
noticeable hint of whatever it is they call that stuff around their eyes.

And....I’ve missed the moment when a warm hug lingers for an eternity as two bonded
beings feel that which only their minds have caught and brought before them, awaiting
two trembling hands to retrieve and shelter that which so softly holds him there, ever
close....to her.  And...slumber beckons him as
a distant figure approaches, gown moving slightly
in the night air until one day a dream comes true.

"And....I’ve missed the moment when a warm hug lingers for an eternity as two bonded

~ To me, that is the height of intimacy.

"awaiting
two trembling hands to retrieve and shelter that which so softly holds him there, ever
close....to her."

~ But, I have to admit, that anticipation is half the fun!

~ Sweet dreams, dear poet! And may your dreams one day, become your reality.
