Christmastime
Means fun and frivolity
Where are they?

Balladeer,
That rascal Mr. Toerag,
LongJnAg?

Let's begin!
Fill these halls with dueling cheer,
C'mon guys...

I command you to appear!

These 3 scallywags have been entertaining us on this site since day one.
Check the archives for duels from these three.

Love, Joy, and Cheer!

If anyone can bring them out, it's you!
We can honestly say,
"them were the good ol' days!"

I figure it this way Karilea.  They better get their butts in here and stir up some fun.  I think our good friend Seymour Tabin, is WAY overdue to be "roasted".

Ah, yes!  They sure know how to light up a party (for any occasion).  Seeing those reindeer horns makes one think of these devilish poets.

Seems all that moonshining should bring them running.

Where or where can they be? What a blue Christmas without them, but Mistletoerag is lurking with merriment, I see!

I think I should tell you all, it's been formally decided that all of Santa's reindeer are female! Even Rudolph. Heard it on the radio yesterday....Wouldn't ya just know it?!!!  And someone just had to ask... LOL

Thanks, Mysteria...hope your roust works!

Aw, Sharon, it's my fault, I fear.
The guilt belongs to Balladeer.
I treated those two boys so rough
They threw their hands up with "Enough!!"

I tried to take it easy on
Those derelicts from Wobegone
But who'd have ever thought their skin
Could be so peanut-brittle thin?

Now Toerag sleeps in alleyways
And wears his rags in disarray.
His scream rings out in mortal fear
When someone mentions Balladeer.

And LongJohn? He's still on his knees
Somewhere on the seven seas.
He never did recover from
The way 'deer made him look so dumb.

So, yes ma'am, it's my fault, I guess
But, truth be known, I must confess
I wish those boys were right back here
Getting pummeled by ole Balladeer

Balls-of-Deer ~

I do believe that you are right in your ass-umptions!

Let those two woe-be-gones rise to the Mysterious One's challenge and show us all what they are made of! ~ and I hope it is not  Swiss cheese and full of holes! I know that there is metal in their stuffing! I've sampled it many a time before!

Loved your confession, Ballsy One.

I doubt very much they have thrown their hands up Balladeer.  I have inside information that at least one is getting his "words" in order, and preparing for a poetball fight!

If not, we all still love all of ya, and hope that your holidays are filled with moments that you will treasure forever.

Ol’ Balladeer has lost his mind,
His tape got twisted in its capstan.
His sanity button reads “Please Rewind”,
It’s not the first time this has happened.

His misplaced feelings of grandeur,
Have led that scalawag to believe,
That Long John could no longer endure
His mumbling stumbling poetry.

Oh, wait - he’s right....

Whereas....

Toerag enrolled in night school,
With the University of Phonics.
He wants to sharpen his poetry tools,
So he doesn’t write like it’s Ebonics.

I’ve heard these two villains exist,
In a vegetative state.
It’s no surprise their poems persist,
As epitome’s of “Second Rate.”

Nevertheless, and despite all this...

I find...

Both Toerag and Balladeer,
Can lighten the downtrodden spirit.
Their words of mirth a blessing here,
For those who can endure it.
