Anita remembers
After all this time...
A grieving family,
A life in decline.
Anita is a hospice angel,
Gentle and kind,
Who consoles the dying
And those left behind,
Because she cares,
Anita is there...
Anita remembers.

Thank you all for your lovely comments. Anita was a volunteer at the hospice where my daughter passed away with cancer. She truly deserves a tribute.

superb 'write'...and tribute!...

[my mother just died...
'hospice' folk made things so much more
tolerable in the last few weeks!]

serious applause!!

Thank you Secondhanddreampoet.
Sorry about your mother. I couldn't possibly write a tribute that would give enough credit to those people who work in a hospice.
