My First Love

Let me
Open your dictionary to page one
And ink myself all over your meaning.
I will be your place of serenity,
I will cut and paste my identity,
I will be your inner entity.
I will do anything I have to do,
To mean something to you.

I think about you all the time.
You are the back bone to my writing,
An inspiration,
You're the fulcrum of my concentration,
You will forever live in my imagination.

I hope this poem is getting something through,
If you ever need help
Tell me,
I’ll do anything for you.

Belle mademoiselle,
Let me fall into your embrace,
Like I fell in love,
When I first saw your face.

You hold the beauty of a dove high above,
That is why you are and always will be,
My first love.
