Hello,

I have written a new poem (see below) and I have set myself a 'challenge', well I say that I have set myself a challenge, but I am also passing the challenge onto you guys.
I have been writing since 1998, and I now feel that my words need a voice, they need to be 'heard' the way they were wrote.
The challenge is as follows:

Number 1: The poem. 'Survive' written by me.

Are you my sanctuary here?
All my hopes,
My desires,
So scared that I could surrender myself,
If I thought you'd reply,
The whole of my heart,
For one piece of your sky,
In this place that I dwell,
Amongst the tears that I've cried.
Please don't tell me you love me,
As you whisper goodbye,
For tonight I'm in heaven,
Beneath the stars,
I reside.

Number 2: The criteria

Please note that I have listed only the preferred voice of a female below, but if a male can do as good, then I am totally cool with that, but it must be in the same genre / style.

Preferred voice attributes: Female / Soft / frail / Whisper / Emotion
Genre / Style: Keira Knightley / Pride and prejudice / Romeo and Juliet.
Music that inspired poem: Diary of hate by Michael Nyman.

Number 3: Yes or No

If you want to go ahead and help me out, then leave me a message on this board, as a reply and I will contact you.

Number 4: The outcome

I intend to lay the voice track over the top of the piece of music 'Diary of hate by Michael Nyman' and I will in turn e-mail the complete piece back to the successful candidate. Looking forward I have loads of more poetry that if the person would like to repeat this process with old and new material I would be eternally grateful.

Kind Regards

James McInerney

I send poetry to my friend by email sometimes and give him a youtube link of a particular piece of music to listen to as he reads. This is something we all could do right here on this page. Put up the link for a song before the poem so readers can listen to the music while reading the poem. D
