Was it astronomical lust instated?
Was my soul another prey for this feast?
Bore down on me God let it all
Back down to the bottom I falter
Gotta get back up to the top its getting late

Why, why are you laughing?
Am I your  Beguilement for this life?
This stoned cursed crib we call a world
Locked up inside with no where to hide
I don't want to be your friend
Or pretend what you did was excusable

And yes your in my dreams
Disruppting my good days ahead
I pull back in defense  to keep you away
Flooding my head with your absurd thoughts
Your apperception of my inablilites
Absolute Being save me from this affliction
This grief from a soul I can't keep

Hear my cries my prayers to free me
From this being that took my heart
Threw my feelings into the unknown seas
My quest to find it next to impossible
And others suffer because of my banal
I cannot give something away if
I have it not within me to give

And I carry on each day with a stone
In replacement for my heart
With no feelings left, just empty thoughts
I look up to the skies in hope one day
You will grant me my wish, return my heart
My amity ,loyalty and innocence
For one that did not deserve all I gave

I do not need shine or wealth, just a pen and some paper for my health

With my mind in deep thought, I went over to the fireplace. The ashes from the night before were still in the gate. The sight of the cold dead ashes reminded me of the lonely life that I lead. As I gazed at the ashes, I thought of the love affair that we once shared; like that fire that once burnt in the fireplace, it to slowly died out and left nothing but the ashes of a broken heart in its wake.
This is verse taken from a peom (Quite Storm) that I once wrote here back in the past forums.  Your poem reminded me of it.  I thought your poem was so elegantly written.  Stand back and receive your applause.
