A Journey

Have you ever shopped a view?
And think which one you’d like the most
Where dreams await you in a coup
Like choosing candy from a host

Have you ever dug so deep?
You could not center out the core
Nor could you find a bottom reap
This well you dug in evermore

Or have you ever smelled a vent
Remember all the tone of weld
Pick a flower and held its scent
Of all of nuance that it held

Does it strain periphery?
Did you assimilate its aim?
The omnibus and mystery
The essence of the odors claim

Just a remained that it’s there
This journey of the full aware

Good Morning Sy!
Loved your morning offering~
At times it is all too much to take in eh?
I'm recovering nicely from a wee bit of pneumonia.
But reading you always makes me feel much better.

In the midst of winter,
I found there lives within me..
An invincible summer.

Good mornin', Mr. T.!

It is because of your astute powers of observation that makes for a fine poet who writes from a place of full aware!

You see with your heart, mind, eyes and soul!

~ May all your visions be pleasant ones!

You're so well read
you strain my head,
with dictionary in hand.
I wonder how I got this far
with words I understand.

But English is my Language
it's just I've never heard
a poet practice eloquence
in every single word!

Your powers of observation
leave me within the shade.
A beacon shining in my dark
words gleaming on the page.

But then you've more experience
in kindling inner glow.
And possibly a better grasp
of things I've yet to know.

I'll learn myself Queen's English
and try to make it flow.
But until then, I'll read your work
and follow where you go!

The nice thing about your journeys Sy, is that they are so effortless to take, and we always learn something to boot!

RDB,
I'm so glad you came along.

ivor,
I don't mind as man that says his mind. And you said it quite elegantly.

Bea,
But you are a queen bee are you not?
