Night Song!

The sun is setting night is falling the mists are rolling across
the waters,in the distance I hear calling wahyas spirit in the
twilight.
Can you tell me what he seeks is he talking to his mate, will she
answer to his call or just go on her way alone?
Silent villiage sound asleep fires banked for the heat, embers
buried in the ashes wait for the wind to fan them.
Moonlight like a blanket lies sparkling upon the waters, splashing
sound a fish jumps feeding on misquitoes.
Cattails waving in the breeze that also stirs the scent of
honeysuckle, owl flies dipping low searching for a midnight meal.
Raccoon comes to the water, shyly looking all around him,all the
night sounds go still, panther stalks through the forest.
Once he is past the crickets start up soon joined by a nightly
chorus, katydids and bullfrogs, owl has spotted a field mouse.
What a noisy place this is and yet sleep on the two legs, soon the
morning sun will rise, as will they to offer prayers!

Gracious Granny, my own words are incapable of expressing the extent of my love for yours!

Reading your poetry is always a transcendental experience for me. Thank you, Dear One With Nature Spirits.

Loving Light,
EA

Siyo Trutodaraiders,in the old ways of story telling, one must bring the hearer into the story.Help with words and motion each thing spoken of to come to life.It is my hope I gift this to those who read,at least a little. My thanks to you for you kindness!
