Paris may offer exotic flair
Designer purses, shoes and hair
Though not my bag

Lilac shades of linger scent
Require nothing more be spent
In the dance of your eyes

Toast of gold, thick and sweet
Happiness a sizzled treat
Intoxicates of laughter

Parisian furs of faux renown
Just moonlight as my evening gown
Soft and warm, your arms

To tower raised up, a work of art
Can’t hold a candle in my heart
Shadow puppets ignite my dreams

Daresay desire our souls conspire
The view with you, in spirits higher
Top down, a sunshine road

Of day to day, this grand parley
Hard at work, or hard at play
In hush of crickets sleep

You turn me tenderly, to openly receive
Lived well, each day in simple wishes, I believe

"Just moonlight as my evening gown"

       Lovely imagery... most alluring.
