    Driftwood Hearts
(and Love beyond Time?!)

Change cares not
for Love’s content
nor driftwood hearts
seeking safe harbor....
meeting only
the staggering voice
    of silence....
as in Time’s attic
when a Winter’s afternoon
settles down
mid dusty memory-bones
and shadow-riddles
miming ‘happiness.’
When even Time itself
is but ‘memory’
will Love have proven
the ‘grand design’....
and, what poems
shall be written then?!

Ahhh Yes, the grand design....what hearfelt poems will then be written...one can only image and then I think not really know the wonder and beauty they will be...I love the way this poem made me think of something greater than self...Wonderful...*Big Hugs*

Most beautifully expressed !

a poem, If I might say so,
of pure heavenly perfection!
in which one might find,
in an old attic, where poems
of long ago were born,
beside a poem of Shakespeares if I
might add!

Between the Lines

Turn a Page

I understand the thoughts of you
the signs of life, times lost.
The wonder that engulfed us once
the now of what its cost.

I am here and there and in your mind,
Turn a page and you will see
In dreams meant for the in-between.
Turn a page and look for me.

Down to earth, no fanciness
but passions within hold
Awaiting that which will appear
between these words unfold

A pleasantness, no rain today
just "soft"  in memory
with stretching room between these lines
For "sometimes" to feel free.

Struggling need not happen if
your dreams are "after all".
Turn a page for me, turn a page for you...
I am here to lift your fall.

M
