He is the voice of reason
that calms me when my heart
is pounding in my chest
and my sanity
is ready to explode;

when I am insipid
and life is inane,
he grounds me

to reality,

he is my tranquility.

Years of wisdom
reverberate though
his words

his voice,
and euphony of calm
that quills the madness
running through these veins...

his touch alone
soothes the soul
of I,
the weary traveler

journeying through this life
on the pathway to

Utopia.

{Love has it's own time,
it's own season,
and it's own reasons
for coming and going.
You cannot bribe it
or coerce it
or reason it into staying.
If it chooses to leave,
from your heart
or the heart of a lover,
there is nothing you can do
and nothing you should do.
Be glad that it came to live
for a moment in your life.
If you keep your heart open,
it will surely come again.

Thank you DI, I appreciate your visit.

Hey Nancy, that quote is from one of my favorite books which covers all topics of life. That particular passage is my favorite though. Hugs you.
