Hey guys...i have a favour to ask....at this point and time there is alot of pain in my life. I don't really want to get into details about it but a lot of trauma and hurt has occurred in my life over the last 6 months. During that period, I caused a lot of hurt to someone i care so very much about. A friend that I dearly love and am in serious danger of losing......I posted a poem in open, I have not yet shared it with her but i was thinking about it. Will someone please read it and let me know what they think. It is a rather "powerful" piece. Free verse, which i never really do but it felt right for this piece. Anyway, the woman that I wrote it for is a very loving woman but she and I never really discuss our personal feelings with one another. We both know that the other cares but we've never really talked about it. I'm wondering if maybe the piece may be too intense and shouldn't be shared.....let me know what you think please. Thank you Ringo......it was something written last night as i realized how much I was missing my friend......We've always had a closeness to us that we don't really share with others. We have one of those friendships where.......words aren't really necessary......you just know. But, due to a mistake in judgement that I made.....our friendship is suffering. |

LOL. You did REALLY well getting the link into your post, Lisann. Except it's not the right link? You need to be ON the page you want them to arrive at before you copy the URL. I'm guessing that would be the poem, rather than the page where you were editing the post? |

that poem is beautiful and I can tell it really came from the heart. Tell your friend NOW how you feel and dont put it off. I lost 3 close friends from high school.. and I didnt take the time to fix it, please don't make the same mistake. Best of luck and thanks for sharing. |

For those of you that took the time to read and respond .....Thank you. At this point, I am intending to give it to her on her birthday which is on saturday. If anyone else would like to read it and let me know their opinion as to whether or not i should give it to her.....please feel free to do so and let me know your opinion.
