In a state of disrepair...

No, I don't want your offers
on things I might like.
I have so much junk mail
I'm drowning in the tide!

I don't want cheap medication
or this and that preparation.
And while I do like to read its true
I'll not read books by god knows who!

I don't need a suit for my cat
nor a siren to keep out bats.
I do not want the time in Rome
on day glow clocks within my home!

Please, when you pick up that stack
of catalogues and mismatched tat
don't dare write that address of mine
just shove 'em where the sun don't shine!

I'm annoyed I'm forced to resort to smut
but put it where that monkey put his nut!
Yes, that's right, ram it up your.....

"The world won't end in darkness, it'll end in family fun
With Coca Cola clouds behind a Big Mac sun."

Sure sounds like you are upset. But, I know just what you mean. Sometimes when I go to my outlook express, it is full of nothing but junk mail. Seems like there should be a law against them sending mail we didn't ask to recieve. And, they don't dare leave a way to stop them from sending it.

Never thought to write one like this. I get 30 junk mail messages a day it seems. From boredom we all succeed and I think youve done that....well to an extent. That applies to the lot of us. Great poem.

I know the feeling. I get junk mail online as well as in snail mail.

A great read.
