A Sunday Looking Forward

Forward looking always
to moments of each when.
Even though the nighttime tales
bring musings of us then.

The wishes simple, still unmet
beyond existing words,
clouded in the owing of
the voice in darkness heard.

Thoughts that mark me as I plan
and fragment piece each day,
abandoning my head to heart
though wounded by delay.

Tomorrow sometimes never comes
to be today in wait.
But bounded by a timeless love,
in dreams, I'll recreate.

Oh, this longing is so deeply felt, dear Maureen. But the "timeless love" is a precious gift. What your heart feels, exists.

Beautiful!

Love,

Margherita, thank  you...timeless love is a precious thing.

Dixie, just trying to pass the time...

Barry, guess it's working with children most of my life ( and having 40 nieces and nephews)that makes rhyming easier for me.
