A loving Grandmother
Full of warmth and laughter
You keep me safe just by being near
And help me when things get bad
You are every thing to me
My life my soul and my laughter
But you went to that special place
And left me alone with no laughter or warmth
Just pain and sadness and tears that were never there before
I have always loved you and I always will
My dear loving Grandmother

Don't bring me down now,

Dear Zara, welcome to PIP.

I love your beautiful tribute to your Grandmother, love and gratitude are deeply felt.

I had such a loving Grandmother too and even though I am a Grandmother myself now, I still keep her in my heart. A love that will never end.

Love,
Margherita

"But you went to that special place

This poem is very touching. I can imagine how sad  you are feeling. But you, know she is still with you and always will be. You will think of her often and remember things she taught you, so she will be beside you, guiding you. best to you, martyjo

I hope my grandchildren know this when I leave...everyone of them is a smile I carry in my heart daily, including my great granddaughter-- now just four weeks old.

Your poem is very touching.

I know of such loss having lost most of my family.  May God strenghten you in this time of sorrow.  The poem is a lovely Tribute to all of our grandmothers.

Your thoughts rather for your own grandmother or a fictional one are still beautiful. martyjo
