Stretching
back into depths of the sea
opening to a persuasive daylight
feeling warm and fuzzy,
forsythia dusting against my face
just like the old days
of afterglows
circling images
curving in dazzling spherical motion
flooding my questions with pioneering
identity
feeding gravitational
bursts of energy
to a long abandoned
hole, where souls emerged
like a great river absorbed unto a dream
slithering, kind, background music
spanning the universe, fluid the sound

was
that your star burning dawn
with relentless rippling surfaces?
deliberately assembled & merging
with some hierarchy of free will
great frozen waves of thought twisting in struts
waiting so patiently for a reachable lifetime
you’ve posed a bonfire of horizons…You!

Mere
whispers belched entities across space,
across time & complexity emerged from
purposeful structures, comes a spark of
consciousness, flexing singularity, nurturing a root
of refined data…reflections of he & she
in one quantum atom…joining an unmarked sea
breathing towards the four corners of the universe
in huge colors of humor, inspiration and love
man, written in a notebook of some celestial grotto
soaking the hand towel of life…where names are spread
pleasantly pointing toward youth…toward, hopefully
a better world…

Significant
is this room doomed by man
as he kicks a flaming treasure toward the center of
progress…blazing paper for a mouthpiece, forked tongues
misplaced, broken bones…that wave in the wind
like a make-believe fortune, death, destruction
moving place to place…his time machine genius
splinters from a grenade, the flesh of raised eye brows
from a criminal element wins…no better then the dark alleys
of ground hogs…and where they’ve been…

Oh
the burning silence…that claims a king’s funeral
peacekeepers rush the pimps of religion
and I can’t understand this savagery, this pressure point
reached when, days whisper her tired regret…and man
stepping on the tongue of his God’s all suited up with
no place to roam…pinching earth in a tender place
making an utter fool of himself.

What
is this place we call a god fearing world?
mutual respect points a gun at the dove
mother earth certainly drew illusions and the scavengers
deliver volcanic bubble in the name of words, in the name of lust
sexual or otherwise…
pity the fanatical loonies, things aren’t what they seem anymore
and I’ve reached this dismal conclusion…people are mealy mouthed
and mad, always wanting more, setting aside the most farthest part of
mind…they’ve forgotten, they are guests here…and how to be polite.

Lucifer
in his paradise
lives in the lives of the lost…
gathering fox to his bosom, standing timely
before an animated discussion of breakdown
waving his arms, assembling square footage
biting the lips of what was meant to be…
dancing in the winds of definite impressions
breathing future, cupping his hands as if they
were bowls, alarming even the passage of time
to diffused winter sunlight
beating through a child’s
life…

yea, working overtime to fulfill a prophecy
this killer trained to deliver more drunkenness
to things
that go bump in the night…

Delicious
ooze of a pregnant women
dreaming what she wants
to believe, in her protective
plastic bubble, she thinks she is safe from treachery,
from deceit…crackling voice of filth,
waiting with expectation…and for an audience to secrete
the pandemic of bird disease, whispers in the dark
with a hysterical drunkenness
wearing the screams of Denmark…
grown men
acting like low life…animals…

I could cry

~ Lee, you are amazingly and cosmically talented!

My problem is that I DO cry!  Another most amazing write - yes, like a whirlwind through the mind that lands one with a bump back into the same old world.
