Breath Unplugged

When a spirit is set free
across the chasm there is a breeze
that nibbles ripples into the lake
even when breath is unplugged

it holds a minute
to navigate the loss
and plant a pulse
so quick that robins in cocking head
turn in sweet bewilderment

Listen to the dreams that come
when you are open to dimension
and time spreads itself

and you will know that love
has no boundaries
and that it understands forgiving
before your tear has
left its small circumference on the pillow

Thank you for this Martie.
I know Karilea will find comfort when she reads it.

Rest in peace dear Robert.

....sigh...the more we love, the more there is to lose...and the more losses we must share. Yes....that's the key word....yes, I do. This and other losses I don't know of...yet.

Martie - you speak nothing but the truth here and so beautifully too that it brings tears to my eyes.  Not so much for the passing over but that someone should know this truth is so very wonderful. We all can gain comfort from your words whether grieving or not and you bring us together under the umbrella of "love". Very well done!

Martie, this is absolutely beautiful
not only lovely words, but a heartfelt understanding that will truly guide and serve a friend in need.

God bless you for this

Our father taught us to hold special
these very moments.

Robert is smiling in his thanks for this...
I know, because I feel it in my pulse.

Thank you, Sissie.  I will keep you informed
as to what might happen.

Yes, I see Robert nodding over this one.

Love,

Sissie

Your poem was made all the more poignant with Karilea's warm and touching response to it.

I didn't know Robert/Fagin, but anyone connected to Karilea/Sunshine has to be special.  My tears for you, Sunshine, and my thanks to Martie for letting us know and for comforting Sunshine in such a beautiful poem.

This is so beautiful, Martie, so uplifting.

Fagin...you shall be remembered as a truly Passionate heartbeat by all wha have read your words.

Karilea? heart hugs to you, knowing how close you and Robert were, knowing how deeply you must be hurting. But he will always be there for you in spirit.
